Was browsing and bumped into a small article :
there seems to be a million designers out there in the world today – certainly a large concentration here in Portland – and surprising as it may be, the design world is extremely competitive. so what do you do with all that talent and no where to showcase it? a good friend told me once that “artists & designers have the ability to create something out of nothing“. sure you can draw, paint, sculpt, build – the usual efforts. but not everyone has the money for, or the outlet to buy art. so how do you make something that people can get easily, that doesn’t cost a fortune, and promotes who you are as an artist/designer? another good friend one told me that “creating passive revenue streams are the key to financial independence“. but as an artist/designer, how do you create passive revenue streams? creating a font that people can download is one way. licensing drawings or photos is another… one idea i’m seeing more of lately is the DIY paper toy… and i love it!

Today was chill, went out with jackie to oakridge mall and had lunch, basically caught up. Than headed to japan town to hit up a boutique shop there that is fairly new.

No work today, but did some shoe business. Went to Derek’s pad to check out his new lens for his camera (6 bills), his camera set is a beast!!!! He gave me some words on how to take pics and all that. So when i got home, took pics of some shoes im posting to sell. PLEASE VIEW RIGHT SIDE TABS FOR PRICING ON THESE KICKS AND INFO. Also took a pic of my new customs that im working on.

Had a long day at work than went home to rest for 2 hours. Picked up Hailey to go watch District 9. I thought wrong about the movie, it turned out to be good. After the movies, we headed to the piedmont hills to peep the view of S.J. My camera took some decent pictures, although there good be better ones when i get a new better camera. Went home and rested and worked on some customs.
